Who is a yoga guru?

Yoga gurus are those people that teach Yoga techniques to common people. They also work towards attaining a common goal of total control over oneself. In the ancient times, the methodology of yoga was the main subject but nowadays, there are specialists in Yoga. There is a big difference between a guru and religious leader just as the name suggests.
A spiritual leader specialises with a particular religion and then mentors people following that same religion. A yoga guru on the hand specialises with the masses(no particular religion)and seeks to propagate the Yoga belief to them
